Louis Vuitton Passes.

On February 27th 1892, French designer Louis Vuitton passed away at the age of 70. He founded his luxury brand in 1854 and was known for his iconic monogram design and creation of the flat-topped trunk, which revolutionized the way people traveled. Today, Louis Vuitton is one of the world's most valuable luxury brands and continues to be a leading force in the fashion industry.

The 22nd Amendment came into force.

The 22nd Amendment to the US constitution was ratified in 1951 on February 27th, limiting the President of the United States to only two terms.

This amendment was in response to the unprecedented third term of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, and was intended to prevent any future President from accumulating too much power and becoming a de facto dictator.

Ebony and Ivory…

On February 27th 1981, the hit song "Ebony and Ivory" was recorded by Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. The song became a massive success, reaching the top of the charts in several countries and becoming one of the best-selling singles of the year.

National Anosmia day

Anosmia Awareness Day on February 27th was founded in 2012 by Daniel Schein, and sheds light on the condition of not having a sense of smell. Anosmia can be caused by upper respiratory infections, sinus/nasal diseases, and other long-term or permanent factors. The loss of the sense of smell can greatly impact memories and emotions, and even affect the enjoyment of food and the ability to detect danger.

Pokemon Day is an annual celebration of the launch of the Pokemon franchise in Japan on February 27, 1996! On this day, Pokemon fans come together to play games, collect merchandise, and attend events. Pokemon is one of the biggest video game franchises in the world, with currently over 120 games, not to mention tv shows, and movies!
