While we hope you'll never have to use it, the Heimlich Maneuver can be a life-saving first aid move that could prevent a fatal choking hazard. If you spot someone choking, the maneuver requires you to stand behind them and clasp your hands around them, just above the navel. You should then thrust upwards into the abdomen, hopefully releasing the lodged object. Today's a great day to find out more.
