  1. The Eurostar from London takes an average of just 2 hours and 25 minutes to reach Paris’ Gare du Nord.

  4. It takes 1665 steps to climb from the bottom to the top of the Eiffel Tower.  If you don’t care for all the climbing, there are lifts available to whisk you to the top.
  5. Paris has a population of 2.2 million that live in the 106 square kilometres that make up the city.
